Radio Standard
The newest line of guitar by Beard Guitars. The Radio Standard line has an option for every player. Combining aspects of every model, this model comes with the option of 5 different finishes.
Radio Standard-E
A strictly squareneck model, the Radio Standard-E is a larger body size than the R-model. Along with the spider cone system, this guitar produces smooth tones with enhanced bass and midrange.
Radio Standard-A
All Radio Standard-A come as a roundneck. This guitar comes with a traditional spider cone system. The Jumbo body size is used for a versatility in all playing styles.
Radio Standard-R
The Radio Standard-R comes in both a square and a roundneck variation. Containing a spider cone resonator, the smaller R bodied guitar offers both clarity and consistency across the spectrum of sound.
Radio Standard-RFB
The all-around blues guitar, the Radio Standard-RFB is a round neck biscuit resonator. Reminiscent of vintage 1930s biscuit resonators, the RFB Model is perfect for the player looking for that classic punchy, loud tone.
Finish
A vintage inspired satin finish, this thin and durable finish highlights the natural grain of the instrument. A combination of no binding and a dark sunburst is used to create a unique style.
Build
Made of premium Finnish birch veneer, each Radio Standard comes with all black satin parts, a Beard radio coverplate, and a traditional bone nut. As always, Beard guitars are American made.
Resonator
The Radio Standard R, E, and A model comes with a Beard handspun Legend cone and an original #14 Spider. The Radio Standard RFB comes with a Beard handspun biscuit resonator system.
sound
Each resonator sounds different, but they all have excellent projection. Models with spider cones have excellent sustain while the model with a biscuit cone have a midrange punch.
