When Mike burst on the scene in the late 60s, his style was immediately recognized as fresh. Mike's playing projected smooth, sophisticated, and distinct phrasing. The first time I heard him was on WAMU 88.5 FM radio, and as a result I took up playing the resonator guitar. I am very fortunate to have developed a close friendship with Mike that allowed us to design his signature guitar. Today the Mike Auldridge signature guitar is crafted to the same standard as the first one in 2003.

"The tone and balance of the Mike Auldridge Signature Beard resonator is superb... the perfect guitar in every way in my opinion, or I would not have my name on it. I use this guitar exclusively for all my work in the studio and on the road. This is the best resophonic guitar I've ever heard for any price period!"
The MA-6 comes in the Beard E-Body shape. Made out of High-Grade Finnish birch veneer, the guitar comes with a Beard reflex baffle.
The neck is made of solid mahogany and comes with a custom ebony fretboard with hearts and flowers inlay.
